From the City of Bellaire:
This month, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will begin installing a new driving surface and new pavement markings along the IH 610 frontage roads within Bellaire. The work will consist of the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt driving surface as well as repairs to the concrete subsurface base. At least one lane of traffic will be open on the frontage roads, and construction will occur at night to minimize traffic congestion and delays. The entire project is scheduled to last approximately four months. However, TxDOT and their contractor, Angel Brothers, expect the work to be complete before the four-month deadline.
