Residents can expect to see a significant increase in the number of crews and equipment removing debris from Bellaire. Two tandem self-contained loaders were in town today, and a third will be here tomorrow.  A total of 24 pieces of debris removal equipment will be operating throughout Bellaire starting tomorrow, September 22. More equipment and crews will be here next week.  This equipment will be a dedicated resource for Bellaire until the debris removal operation is complete.

Residents can expect that the vast majority of the work associated with the cleanup, including the second and third passes will be complete before the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The contractor still targets September 28 for the first pass, but October 10 is more likely for some areas.  A more precise plan of attack will be developed over the weekend.  Future messages will be more location-specific.

This notice is from the City of Bellaire.
