The City will begin the process to return S. Rice Ave. to 4 lanes near City Hall.

From the City of Bellaire:

The re-striping of South Rice Avenue between Linden and Aspen Streets is scheduled to begin the week of July 6.  The project will return the configuration of the street to four lanes with parallel parking along the west side of the street.

This may impact traffic along South Rice near Bellaire City Hall once the project begins. The project may be postponed in the event of a rain delay.
