The City’s debris hauling contractor is currently experiencing a delay collecting storm related debris and are in the process of assigning additional crews to the City. In an effort to continue to make progress, the contractor will be collecting storm related debris over the weekend on September 16 and 17. The City expects additional crews to be in the City early next week.
The first sweep will continue into next week, with the second sweep now scheduled to start the week of September 25-29. Please note that the first and second sweeps are only for storm related debris. Household trash, recycling and bagged yard waste is to be kept separated from storm related debris and will be collected by the City per the normal schedule.
Please remember not to park in front of debris piles as crews are unable to collect them. We appreciate your continued cooperation and patience.
