Bellaire Mayor Andrew Friedberg discusses the heroic efforts of Bellaire’s First Responders and Emergency Operations personnel in his latest blog post. On February 5, 2018, the Mayor will honor these Heroes at a special ceremony followed by the 2018 State of the City Address.
According to the Mayor, each of these brave citizens will be “presented a certificate and a small gift in token of our appreciation.”
“Following the ceremony and a brief reception, we’ll continue with the State of the City. Our citizen Boards and Commissions will present their annual reports to City Council and the public, and I will give my 2018 State of the City Address. (Spoiler alert: Considering all we’ve been through the State of the City is pretty good, but there are tremendous challenges and uncertainty ahead, and we’re going to have to make some tough decisions in maintaining service levels post-Harvey.)”
