The City of Bellaire has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its fiscal year 2020 annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR).
The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment for the City. The City’s annual comprehensive financial report was judged by an impartial panel and was found to have met the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate the City’s financial story.
This is the 25th consecutive year the City has received this award.
