The City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, adopted Ordinance No. 24-009 on February 19, 2024. Penalties, fines, or forfeitures related to a violation of the provisions of Ordinance No. 24-009 shall become enforceable not less than ten (10) days from the date of publication of this notification or on March 8, 2024. The caption of Ordinance No. 24-009 reads as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 9, BUILDINGS, ARTICLE I, IN GENERAL, SECTION 9-5, DUTY OF CONTRACTORS AND OTHER PERSONS PERFORMING CONSTRUCTION WORK WITHIN THE CITY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUIRING A TEMPORARY POLE AND ELECTRICAL METER AT NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SITES AND CLARIFYING THE ALLOWABLE HOURS FOR CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CITY.
