From the City of Bellaire:
Solid waste and recycling collection services will proceed as normal on Monday, weather permitting. Due to potential flooding conditions and tropical storm force winds, solid waste collection services will be canceled Tuesday and Wednesday. Updates on the status of solid waste collection on Thursday pick up will be provided before Thursday.
In addition, please make sure to bring in any recycling bins and items not able to be collected as soon as possible on Monday afternoon and secure any items that could float and block drains. City Hall and curbside service at the Library will remain open Monday morning. However, many city services may close should weather conditions worsen throughout the day on Monday due to rainfall, flooding, and tropical storm force winds.
Police and Fire personnel remain on duty 24/7 for emergency needs. Please call 911 for emergencies only
