On Saturday May 6th the Bellaire Aquatic Center hosted students from 8 area schools who are training for the upcoming Houston Texans Kids Triathlon. 

The schools represented were Condit, Horn, Kolter, Lovett, Mark Twain, & Parker Elementary and Pershing & Pin Oak Middle Schools. Over 168 kids participated in the training event.   Horn has the largest team from the schools represented today.  They have 101 students participating.

Houston Texans Kids Triathlon May 20 and 21, 2017 at NRG is the World’s Largest Kids Triathlon. Registration is still open if your child is interested, find all the information you need at: www.houstontexans.com/kidstriathlon.

The Junior Division (ages 6-10) will swim 100M, bike 3 miles and run 1/2 mile on Saturday the 20th and the Senior Division ages (11-15) will double those distances at their race on Sunday the 21st.

Each school will be receiving $10/participant back in an educational grant for their school.  Either join the existing team at your school or start a team at your school today.
