Memorial Hermann Imaging Center-Bellaire has relocated to the UTHealth Houston Professional Building at 6500 West Loop South, Suite 125, Bellaire, TX 77401.
In addition to the move, Memorial Hermann Imaging Center-Bellaire also upgraded its imaging technology, offering new, state-of-the-art equipment designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve the patient experience. The upgraded suite of technology includes:
Advanced computed tomography (CT) technology, including 1-beat cardiac scanning that can capture a complete image of the heart within a single heartbeat, enabling accurate imaging even in individuals with irregular heart rhythms or high heart rates.
Advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology that delivers sharper, clearer images resulting in reduced scan times. Additionally, the new MRI machines prioritize the patient experience with a wide-bore design that offers more room inside the scanner, as well as feet-first scanning options to further enhance patient comfort and reduce anxiety.
Advanced screening and diagnostic mammogram technology that puts patient comfort at the forefront by allowing the patient to control the compression during the mammogram under the guidance of the technologist, as well as redesigned equipment featuring rounded edges, thinner imaging detectors and armrests. For patients needing a diagnostic mammogram, Memorial Hermann Imaging Center-Bellaire will soon offer contrast-enhanced mammography, which uses a small amount of iodine-based contrast to “illuminate” tissue and help the breast radiologist see any abnormalities more clearly.
Advanced X-ray technology featuring advanced applications for bone and spine imaging, ideal for scoliosis exams.
Advanced Ultrasound technology, including shear wave elastography for a non-invasive assessment of conditions like liver fibrosis.
And more, including C-arm imaging and DEXA bone scans.
“Our new location in Bellaire was designed with an emphasis on providing both advanced imaging technology and patient-centered care,” said Teal Holden, senior vice president of ambulatory services, post-acute care and community health for Memorial Hermann Health System. “From faster, more comfortable MRIs to X-rays and everything in-between, our team is committed to delivering a wide range of high-quality, efficient and accurate imaging services for all Houstonians.”
The imaging center is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Patients can schedule an appointment online or by calling (713) 512-6040. Memorial Hermann Imaging Center-Bellaire accepts imaging orders from any referring physician. Learn more about Memorial Hermann Imaging Center-Bellaire.
