This sounds like the best scenario, to use the existing building. The parking garage wouldn’t be as tall as the building so hopefully would not be a problem.

I don’t know why there is such an uproar about sidewalks. I am glad we have them on our street. Most cities have them and as multiple engineers have said they don’t cause flooding.

I think sidewalk improvement is a great thing too! I just don’t understand why some people are so adamant against them. Seems like it’s a pretty normal thing for cities to have sidewalks.

I really like the current logo. It represents the “City of Homes”. Plus it’s colorful. I just don’t like the proposed logo and not sure what its leaf represents.

Measure 5ft from curb to grass on residential designated streets, measure 6 feet if designated commercial. Remove all trees, shrubs and decorations in this pathway and then you will see why home owners are upset…
Take a walk down Evergreen Street and picture 6FT sidewalks because it is designated commercial. Remove the obstacles of 50 to 100 year old trees and you don’t have a problem.
To go around them ask the owner to give up part of his land to compensate for the sidewalk.
