Jax Grill is celebrating 30 years in Houston with $3 burgers and 30-cent fries.
On Monday, July 31, the fast-casual restaurant will offer its mesquite-grilled “Original” Jax Burger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles for $3 at its locations at 6510 S Rice Ave. in Bellaire and 1613 Shepherd Dr. – with a maximum of two per person. The promotion is available for dine-in only, along with 30-cent fries, all day starting at 11 a.m.
Established in 1993, Jax Grill features a 100 percent scratch kitchen and live fire mesquite grill, with bestsellers including burgers, Jax Ritas and Tex-American fare. Owned by Paul Miller and Gr8 Plate Hospitality since 2015, the restaurants are helmed by managers including Virgillio Miranda, Rosa Bautista and Estrella Ochoa, original employees who have been with the company since the early 1990s.
The “Original” Jax Burger is always fresh, never frozen, with a mesquite grilled beef patty and mayonnaise on a toasted bun.
