Bellaire Police teamed up with Stuff the Sleigh and ABC13’s Steve Campion to make Officer Max an Honorary Bellaire Police Officer!
BPD posted some behind the scenes photos of Officer Max being sworn in as an officer and making a traffic stop. See all the photos on the Bellaire Police Officer’s Association Facebook page.
BPD will be hosting a toy drive for Stuff the Sleigh starting on November 29th at Holiday in the Park.

“At age 7 Max was diagnosed with AML Leukemia M-7, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. He has also overcome brain cancer and undergone 2 Bone Marrow Transplants.
His wish was to become a police officer for a day and thanks to Bellaire Police Officer’s Association for making Max’s dream come true today! Max was sworn in by the Bellaire Judge and received his own uniform and badge. Bellaire Police Officers are also participating in No Shave November and donating their proceeds to Stuff the Sleigh.”
