According to the Houston Business Journal, “Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina will open at 2002 W. Gray St., the River Oaks Shopping Center space formerly occupied by La Griglia. Next door, Goode Company also will open a new concept, Bar Buena, described as a “tequila-forward watering hole.” Bar Buena will be tucked behind the main restaurant off the corner of West Gray and McDuffie.”
The article says “Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina offers a fusion of authentic Mexican food, smoky South Texas staples and Gulf Coast cooking. Bar Buen will be a “cavern-like bar inspired by the ancient artisanal process of mezcal-making”.
