The entire community is invited to come to the eight annual “Blessing of the Animals” on the front lawn of Bellaire United Methodist Church on April 21 from 10:00 am until noon.
At this fun, family-friendly and pet-friendly event, people of all faiths are invited to bring their dogs, cats, hamsters, fish or other pets to receive an individual blessing from one of the church’s pastors. Plus your pet will receive a FREE commemorative photo of that special moment from Nikky LaWell Photography.
You can also visit with a variety of pet experts and service organizations including Faithful Paws, Natural Pawz, Rover Oaks Pet Resort, AniMeals on Wheels, Southeastern Guide Dogs, and Mission K-9 Rescue; and you can check out some wonderful adoptable pets brought by Golden Beginnings Rescue, Westie & Scottie Rescue of Houston, Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue, and All Texas Dachshund Rescue.
