Sing!Sing!Sing!, Houston’s no-audition, secular, popup singing group, is excited to announce “An Evening To Connect”, a new social initiative to bring people of all colors and ages, men, women and children… religious and secular, political and nonpolitical…. together for an evening of connection… through song!

EVERYONE – YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS are invited – to take pause on a Spring evening at Evelyn’s Park in Bellaire, to put aside everything that divides us and to do together one simple thing: sing!

WHAT HAPPENS AT SING!SING!SING!
At Singx3, we learn, then record and later post online, one 2-3 part harmony, pop song, a night. We are fortunate to be led in this endeavor by two professional musicians, Judi Messina, choir director, keyboardist, voice and piano coach, and Bill Aspinwall, guitarist, singer, song writer.

On Mon., April 30, our song will be: LET IT BE (Paul McCartney)

HOW IT WORKS:
First, you’ll be helped to decide whether you want to join the group singing the melody or one of those singing a harmony part. Each group will then spin off to work with a song leader to learn their part. After that, we’ll come back together to rehearse as a group. Once we’re happy with how it sounds, we’ll record our masterpiece, then play it back for a bit of instant joy. The next day, our song will be uploaded to soundcloud.com/singx3 for all to hear. It’s just that simple!

Our voices may not be perfect, but we truly don’t care. The goal of the evening is to experience the joy of co-creating harmony with others. That part is guaranteed to be amazing!

NOTE:
To fully understand why we are so excited about this April 30 event, YOU MUST SEE a miracle that happened very recently, (2/14/18), when 3,000 Muslims and Jews were brought together for an evening of shared joy.
