There will also be a book signing of the children’s book “Be Brave to be Fearless”, written in honor of Austyn Halter who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia when she was 2 1/2. Read more about Austyn’s story here.

Shooters will participate in a four member team and will shoot a 100 target course.
Participants may register as a team or an individual. Individuals will be grouped into four member teams for the day of the event. Register on or after August 1st.
Team registrants must appoint a Team Captain. This person will be in charge of checking-in his/her team members at registration on the day of the event.
Ammunition and ear protection will be provided. Shooters MUST provide personal EYE protection. Eye protection will be available for purchase at American Shooting Centers.
A variety of 12 and 20-gauge over/under loaner shotguns are available upon request. It will take your group 2 – 2.5 hours to complete the 10 Station course. Each team of four will be escorted throughout the course with an experienced Safety Officer to pull and keep score. Fresh ice water will be available at each station.
Personal golf carts are allowed, or you may rent a cart directly with American Shooting Center.
Certain higher level sponsors will receive a golf carts as part of their sponsorship package.
Safety
All shooters must attend the ASC Safety Briefing prior to the Sporting Clays event.
All Safety Rules are listed on the shooter’s scorecard.
All shooters are required to sign a waiver prior to shooting.* ASC must reserve the right to enforce any and all safety rules.
About Clays for a Cure Challenge
The Andy Allen Clays for a Cure Challenge was created in 2014, the year that Andy Allen relapsed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), by a group of volunteers who considered the Allen family …… well, “family.” We simply had to do something to help Andy and others like him.
Many of you were there when Andy rose to the podium last year to the sound of an overwhelming standing ovation as he shared his personal story. Andy’s chemo protocol didn’t exist when he battled leukemia the first time. LEUKEMIA RESEARCH SAVED HIS LIFE! In closing, Andy emphasized how important family and friends were during and after his treatment, and said to the crowd, You are now part of my family.

Since 2014, we’ve raised over $140,000 at the Andy Allen Clays for a Cure Challenge to fund LLS research. We want to celebrate our 5th anniversary by having our best year yet!
