PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS
Representatives from Siemens Industry, Inc., presented an energy savings rebate check for $36,146.80 to the City of Bellaire as a result of energy efficiency improvements at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Judge John Coselli presented a gift of a framed newspaper article reporting on the Bellaire Little League appearance in the 2000 Little League World Series.
REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS
The monthly financial report for the First Quarter of FY 2019 was presented. Highlights included an overview of property tax revenues, property sales, staffing, and water revenues.
REGULAR SESSION ACTION ITEMS
Adopted an ordinance approving a budget amendment for FY 2018 related to Hurricane Harvey Disaster expenditures; $2,000,000.00 for the General Fund and $200,000.00 for the Enterprise Fund.
Approved an agreement with AStatus Construction, LLC for the construction of the Bonds for a Better Bellaire 2016 Waterline and Wastewater Project, Group A Phase 2, (various locations throughout the City) for an amount not to exceed $2,321,257.00.
Approved an agreement with AStatus Construction, LLC for the construction of the Bonds for a Better Bellaire 2016, Group C Phase 2, (Maple and Bolivar) for an amount not to exceed $1,763,703.00.
Approved an agreement with AStatus Construction, LLC for the construction of the Bonds for a Better Bellaire 2016, Group C Phase 2, (Spruce & 5th Street) for an amount not to exceed $2,490,502.50.
Approved an agreement with AARK Engineers, LLC for construction management and inspections services for the Bonds for a Better Bellaire 2016 Waterline and Wastewater Project, Group C Phase 2, (Spruce, 5th Street, Maple, and Bolivar) for an amount not to exceed $403,685.00.
Accepted a dedication of a public right-of-way from Louise C. Aydam, located on the corner of South Rice Avenue and Spruce Street.
