From the City of Bellaire:
All non-essential City services and buildings will close at 2 pm today and remain closed all day Tuesday. The City Council meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled. Solid waste services will proceed as usual today and be canceled on Tuesday. City hall, pools, recreation center, court, and library services will be closed by 2:00 pm todayand all day Tuesday.
These services are expected to resume on Wednesday. However, they may be suspended depending on the residual impacts of Tropical Storm Nicholas.
Police and Fire personnel remain on duty 24/7. Please call 911 if you have an emergency.
