In observance of the Christmas holiday, all City of Bellaire Offices, including the Library, Recreation Center, and pools, will be closed from Monday, December 25 through Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Fire and Police will remain open. There will be no solid waste services during this time.
Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
City of Bellaire Christmas Tree Recycling Begins December 27
This holiday season, we encourage you to recycle your Christmas tree! You can bring your tree to the drop-off location at 4401 Edith Street. Please ensure that all trees are bare and free of lights, ornaments, flock, or tinsel. The program begins on December 27 and will last until January 12.

City offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, for the Christmas holiday.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling, or yard waste collection on Monday. Trash, recycling, and yard waste will be collected on Tuesday per the normal schedule. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Monday will be collected on Wednesday, December 27. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day, Thursday, December 28.
The Recreation Center will be closed on Sunday, December 24, and Monday, December 25. Regular operation hours will resume on Tuesday, December 26.
Houston City offices will be closed for the Christmas Holidays the following days.

- Christmas Day – Monday, December 25
- Residents will receive normal garbage, yard waste, recycling, and 4th Friday junk waste services.
- All facilities, including Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices will be closed.
