From the City of Bellaire:
In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, all City Offices will be closed and there will be no solid waste collection services on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26. Please note the following changes to the solid waste pickup schedule:
Thursday, November 25, 2021 (Thanksgiving Day)
- Areas A B & E Garbage: Collection to resume Monday, November 29, 2021.
- Area C Limbs/Brush: Collection to resume Monday, November 29, 2021.
Friday, November 26, 2021 (Day After Thanksgiving)
- Area C and D Garbage: Collection to resume Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
- Area E Recycling: Collection to resume Friday, December 3, 2021.
- Area A Limbs/Brush: Collection to resume Monday, November 29, 2021.

The Bellaire Recreation Center will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 24, and remain closed Thursday, November 25 – Saturday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Recreation Center will reopen on Monday, November 28.
The Bellaire Pools will be open Wednesday, November 24 from 7:00am-1:00pm, and closed Thursday, November 25-Friday, November 26, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. For more information, contact the Bellaire Recreation Center at 713-662-8280.
West University Place:
All City offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 29, 2021.
November 25th – No curbside trash, recycling or yard waste collection on Thursday. Trash, recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Thursday will be collected on Wednesday, November 24.
November 26th – Trash, recycling and yard waste will be collected per normal Friday schedule.
City of Houston:
All City offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26.
NO COLLECTION SERVICES. All Solid Waste Facilities including the Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers, Westpark Recycling Center, Environmental Service Center and The Reuse Warehouse are closed.
