The City of Bellaire recently adopted two ordinances.
The City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, adopted Ordinance No. 23-029 on May 1, 2023. Penalties, fines, or forfeitures related to a violation of the provisions of Ordinance No. 23-029 shall become enforceable not less than ten (10) days from the date the notice was published in the Southwest News (May 16, 2023) or on May 26, 2023. The caption of Ordinance No. 23-029 reads as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 19, LIBRARY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 19-6, LIBRARY OPEN SPACE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF OPEN SPACE ADJACENT TO THE BELLAIRE CITY LIBRARY.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 16, SOLID WASTE, ARTICLE II, REGULATION OF DUMPSTERS IN THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BELLAIRE, TEXAS, BY AMENDING SEVERAL SECTIONS THEREIN FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE REGULATION OF DUMPSTERS WITHIN THE CITY.
