Due to the growing number of abandoned dogs and unclaimed strays, the Bellaire Pound has reached maximum capacity. As a result, the Bellaire Police Department has made the difficult decision to suspend accepting any more dogs until further notice. We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but it is necessary to prevent overcrowding.
If you find a stray dog during this time, we kindly ask that you reach out to local rescue groups or animal non-profit organizations that may be able to provide assistance. Your cooperation and understanding in this matter are greatly appreciated as we work together to find suitable solutions for these animals in need.
