FOUND 2/22/22: MALE & FEMALE CHIHUAHUA PUPPIES IN BELLAIRE. These two young Chihuahuas were found yesterday 2/22 at Horn Elementary inside the Loop in Bellaire, after being spotted the previous day as well. They have no collars, tags or chips. They have been nicknamed “PEANUT” (black) & “PRINCESS” (white). Due to their incredibly small size well under 10 pounds and ability to squeeze through the enclosures at the Bellaire Pound, these dogs are being held in temporary foster for the duration of their 72 hour stray hold. If these are your dogs, contact the Bellaire Police Department at 713-668-0487. You will be required to show officers PROOF OF OWNERSHIP including photos and vet records to claim. We also expect an explanation as to why these under 1 year old puppies have been on the streets for several days, have intestinal parasites and demodex mange, are starving, not fixed, and the female is heartworm positive. We are NOT amused and highly encourage you NOT to claim them. Good luck explaining to officers if you try.
