We have done a number of nice projects in Bellaire 77401 and also 77005 and 77025 in the area.
What has developed is this - Most fences. even leaners, can be restored and preserved to sturdy beauty for less than half the cost of a new fence. Yet, it represents a better end product. Why so? Protected beauty, longevity of same, half the money or less, no "neighbor hassle" over teardown and replacement, AND ECOLOGY. ECOLOGY? Yes, the old fence goes to rapidly shrinking waste landfill space, AND a small GROVE OF TREES will have to be cut down, MILLED, and TRUCKED just to provide the replacement fence lumber for a typical 250 foot long backyard fence. EVEN WORSE, the "new" fence will be raw wood held together with nails or staples. Raw wood means that it has no protection against UV and water soak. Nails often wiggle out over time and may produce stains from the water soak. (We use coated deck screws for all attachments).
If your fence does not have any failed, loose, or leaning posts, then the cost of Restoration and Preservation will probably be in the range of 1/3 of a new fence. Our proprietary preservative process protects against water soak and UV degradation for many years - warranted for five - and expected to last even longer. "Old to Gold for Years Untold".
Bellaire has special "leaning fix" problems, and we have developed remedies for each particular type of "leaning fence" problem. Many of these problems have to do with "fill soils" from raised elevations and the settling of the post and its concrete boot over time and rainfall - some times "locking" the post solidly at an angle.
The link above has illustrations of fence problems and restorations - as well as decks, outdoor wood furniture, and even garage doors. There is NO CHARGE for our visit to look at your fence and develop solutions for your consideration. It is best to email me first, so that we may establish convenient and efficient means of communication.
