From the West University Place Police Department:
On 5/13/22, Officers responded to the 2600 block of Cason in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that just occurred. Upon arrival, the victim/witness advised that a suspect entered a delivery truck and took items without consent. The suspect then fled the scene in a minivan traveling towards Kirby Dr. Detectives utilized the Virtual Gate Camera System to locate the suspect’s vehicle and obtained a license plate. It was discovered the license plate utilized by the suspect was recently stolen and the registered owner was unaware of the incident. A few days later, West U Detectives received information that the vehicle/license plate was located by a police agency in a neighboring county. The suspect connected to the vehicle was taken into custody for unrelated charges and later linked to West U’s burglary case. WUPD filed charges against the suspect, Justin Forame, for Felony Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The suspect does have criminal history for:
