On 06-04-2018 at 0933 hours, Ofc D.Rocha (badge #324) was dispatched to the above location in reference to a robbery of a person. Upon arrival at 0933 hours, Officer Rocha met with Houston Police Ofc A. Castillo (unit 17E14D). Ofc Castillo stated he and his partner had received the call and responded at approximately 0925 hours. Ofc Castillo stated he had spoken with the victim and found that the suspect was first observed walking on the opposite side of the roadway of the victim. Ofc Castillo stated victim said the suspect came up to her from behind trying to take her purse. The victim and suspect were both struggling with the purse until suspect pushed the victim and got the purse away. The suspect then ran to a green colored vehicle and drove away eastbound on Holly Street.
