On 10/17/19 at 2:05 AM, Bellaire Officers responded to the Cornerstone Hospital in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers met with four occupants that were traveling together in the 5900 block of IH610 S/B in a Camaro. The occupants stated a dark-colored Impala was driving aggressively and passed them. A person inside the Impala then fired a gun towards the Camaro, striking the vehicle numerous times.
As the result of this shooting, the driver sustained a gunshot wound in the shoulder area and another occupant sustained superficial wounds from glass breakage.
No additional information will be released at this time, due to the driver undergoing surgery and has not yet been interviewed.
