02/05/17 - 48xx Wedgewood - On Monday, February 05, 2017 at about 0236 hours (hrs), Officer C. Barber, a duly sworn police officer for the City of Bellaire, was dispatched to a call for service regarding a burglary of a motor vehicle.

Upon arrival, it was learned the home where the vehicle was parked was also burglarized. Four windows of a rented SUV parked in the drive were broken out and items removed. A kitchen window was broken out to make entry into the residence where various items were stolen. The homeowners were not the victims of the crime, but guests who had rented the dwelling from AirBNB to attend Super Bowl activities were victimized.
