The Meyerland Community Improvement Association has reported two recent burglaries at vacant homes.

On Saturday, August 11, 2018, a burglary habitation in a vacant renovation home was reported about the 5200 block of S Braeswood. The crime occurred some time between 4:30pm on Friday, August 10 and 5:30 on Saturday August 11. Tools were taken from the unlocked garage of the home. No fingerprints nor video surveillance was obtained. 

On Monday, August 13, 2018, a theft at a vacant renovation home was reported about the 5100 block of Queensloch. The crime occurred some time between Friday, August 10 and Monday, August 13. Shingles were taken from the open yard of the home. No fingerprints nor video surveillance was obtained.
