From the Bellaire Police Department:
Today Bellaire Detectives and the Bellaire Special Response Team, with assistance from Sugar Land Police Department, located and arrested a second defendant in the 4500 Merrie Lane shooting case from April 13th. This defendant has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and will be transported to Harris County Jail.
Great job to everyone who worked on this case and the outstanding support from local agencies in the apprehension of both suspects.
Congratulations to BPD for sticking with this case to the end. The citizens of Bellaire should rest easier knowing that when someone commits a crime in Bellaire the BPD is going to stay with it to the resolution. Job Well Done.
