Recently, a package theft suspect has targeted Bellaire and surrounding communities. The vehicle was identified passing through the city and located by detectives just outside of Bellaire, the suspect vehicle attempted to elude the detectives. Marked units were able to stop the vehicle in Meyerland shopping plaza where a large amount of stolen property was recovered. At this time, further information is not being released due to charges pending against the suspect.

 

We would like to thank the tireless efforts of the detectives and residents of Bellaire who were able to send videos of the suspect taking their packages. We encourage residents to continue to report observed crimes and suspicious activity.
