From the Bellaire Police Department:

On April 16 at about 8:50 pm Bellaire Police identified a stolen vehicle traveling east on Bellaire Blvd. A traffic stop was initiated in the 4800 block of Bellaire Blvd. The driver stopped the vehicle fled on foot into residential backyards. With the assistance of West University PD and Houston PD air support the suspect was located in a backyard hiding in thick landscaping. The suspect, identified as Jermonte Barnes has a lengthy criminal history in both Mississippi and Texas.
