From the Bellaire Police Department:

On 01/28/2025, Bellaire Officers were notified of a suspect from a missing person case out of Colorado driving in our area. After quickly locating the vehicle, patrol officers arrested the driver on unrelated charges.

Thanks to the diligent work of our Criminal Investigations Division and Special Response Team, a Houston location was identified where the juvenile was being held. Officers successfully recovered the juvenile and transported her to the Juvenile Justice Center, where she will soon be returned to Colorado. Additional charges out of Colorado are pending at this time on the defendant.
