OMG I'm shocked and angry that they just come in our neighborhood like they belong here. I grew up here and Bellaire cops were tougher back then. Criminals were afraid to drive through our streets. Things are sure different. They aren't scared anymore and that's why this kind of thing will happen more and more. Sad for Bellaire and these nice people who were, unfortunately, in their own garage.
Today's criminals don't seem to care about being caught. Odds are they can do a quick robbery or break in and get away with it, even in Bellaire or West U where police response time is excellent. Unfortunately the police can't be everywhere so crime will continue to happen.
Like you said it is sad that we have to worry about being robbed in our own garages. You can't trust anyone anymore!
