UPDATE: (7/8 8:10am) The water main break affecting businesses and residents near the 4500 - 4700 blocks of Bissonnet has been contained. Crews will continue to work next week. An eastbound lane of Bissonnet will be closed, likely impacting traffic in that area. If you have questions or concerns, please call Bellaire Police non-emergency at 713-668-0487.

A water main break is affecting businesses and residents near the 4500 - 4700 blocks of Bissonnet.  Crews are onsite working to repair the water main. There will be little to no water pressure until the repairs are complete. This work may continue late into the night.
