Let’s hear it for the boys! We are looking for host families for some of our male foreign exchange students. We’ve got a bunch a great kids waiting for a family for the 2021/2022 school year.
Meet Arthur from France…I think one of my main character traits is my curiosity. It allows me to learn new things every day and encourages me to overcome the challenges of my life! I could also say that I am very autonomous. Indeed, my parents got divorced when I was 6, which allowed me to be organized between my two homes and manage myself. If I have to say something negative about my character, I could say that, as I like to say the truth, I am sincere and sometimes I can be direct when people ask me some questions. I have a lot of interest for sports, and more particularly for my passion : tennis. I also spend a few hours a day on my computer, creating and learning new things everyday. In fact, I have many interests for informatic and technologies, and I love to create projects and mini-enterprise on the Internet with friends, like mini business (Code, graphics, crypto currency...etc).
Next, we have Philipp from Germany. Philipp describes himself as easy going, open minded, athletic (basketball), social, optimistic. He enjoys playing basketball, sailing, playing golf, and meeting new friends. His dream is to play on basketball on a high school team. He is excited to get to know you personally and to spend a year with you and your family, have fun, make each other laugh and have a great time during his exchange year.
Hosting will give you the opportunity to bring new cultures and traditions into your home and your children's lives. It opens up the world to you. What does it take to host? Just three meals a day, a place for them to sleep and a willingness to let a young person into your lives. Each student comes with their own medical insurance and spending money. Why not expand your horizons and consider hosting one of these two wonderful students.
If you would like more information on hosting either Arthur or Philipp, please call me at 832-455-7881, DM or email me at vicki.stsfoundation@yahoo.com.
