We decided to try First Watch in Meyerland today and they had a wait. While we were waiting two different people complained about the service as they left and both got their money back. One said they had waited 50 minutes to get their food and the waitress never even came back to say anything. After hearing that and still waiting we decided to leave and go to La Madeleine. This was definitely not a good first impression.
Sounds like The Egg and I. We had such terrible service the first time we went there that we never went back.
Did Egg & I rebrand or is this another restaurant?
I think they bought Egg and I and are changing the concept. I only went to Egg and I a couple of times and it took forever to get the food so didn’t go back. Not sure I’ll even try the new version because it sounds like that hasn’t changed. I think Le Peep has much better food and service.
