The Bellaire Rec Center was closed this morning due to a Police investigation. The center has now reopened.

The Bellaire Police Department has concluded their investigation located in the parking lot of the Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center. 

A victim living in the Southwest Houston area has died of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

The Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center and Bellaire Recreation Center are now open.

The City of Bellaire extends our sincerest sympathy to the family of the victim.

No further information will be released.
