Drive-thru Donation Site at Evelyn’s Park Wednesday, August 30
ACME Party & Tent Rental Center trucks will be at a drive-through donation site in the Newcastle parking lot at Evelyn’s Park from 6 AM – 10 PM Wednesday, to collect disaster relief items for delivery to the George R. Brown Convention Center – Emergency Center for Hurricane Harvey shelter (GRB) and to Ben Taub Hospital.
Curfews issued for Bellaire, West U, and Houston.
Effective immediately, Tuesday, August 29, the cities have issued mandatory curfews until further notice.
West U Mayor Issues Curfew
Due to recent reports of suspicious activity in surrounding cities, reported by local news agencies, the City of West University Place is issuing a Mandatory Curfew starting at 12:00 Midnight to 5:00 AM for tonight Tuesday August 29, 2017.
