FEMA representatives are in Bellaire today.

FEMA staff (Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams) are on Bellaire streets today. They will be wearing blue or red shirts with the FEMA logo, and they will have badges.

FEMA DSA Teams will be in parts of West U Monday.

Beginning Monday 09/04/2017, FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance(DSA) teams will be canvasing certain portions of West Universit Place to assist residents affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Drive-thru Donation Site at Evelyn’s Park Wednesday, August 30

ACME Party & Tent Rental Center trucks will be at a drive-through donation site in the Newcastle parking lot at Evelyn’s Park from 6 AM – 10 PM Wednesday, to collect disaster relief items for delivery to the George R.  Brown Convention Center – Emergency Center for Hurricane Harvey shelter (GRB) and to Ben Taub Hospital.

West U Mayor Issues Curfew

Due to recent reports of suspicious activity in surrounding cities, reported by local news agencies, the City of West University Place is issuing a Mandatory Curfew starting at 12:00 Midnight to 5:00 AM for tonight Tuesday August 29, 2017.
