Bellaire voters re-elected Mayor Andrew Frieberg and elected a new council member for Council Position 2. The unofficial election results show Catherine Lewis received 58.04% of the votes while Trisha Pollard received 41.96%.

The other two council seats will be decided in a runoff election since no candidates running for those positions received 50% of the vote. Nathan Wesley and Winfred Frazier will compete for Position 4. Jim Hotze and David Montague will compete for Position 6. The runoff election will be held Saturday, December 14.

Out of 12,481 registered Bellaire voters, 3,502 (28.06%) cast their ballots.
