Bellaire Police Chief Byron Holloway retired from he Bellaire Police Department July 30. He has served Bellaire for 45 years. Chief Holloway is loved by the community and will be missed!
The Bellaire Police Department expressed their appreciation on their Facebook page:
“How do you find the words to properly honor 45 years of service and dedication to a community? Especially for a Chief of Police who led a department through so many changes and difficult times? How do you reflect a community’s love for that Chief? I’m no poet, so we’ll let these words speak for themselves and for Chief Holloway’s leadership.
“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King
Chief Holloway, thank you for guiding the department that protects this community. Thank you for grace, kindness, and all the laughs. You will be missed.”
