From the City of Bellaire:
Beginning Monday, January 3, you may pick up your library holds curbside. Place holds by calling the library or through the online catalog. Not sure what you want to read, ask a librarian for a book bundle and a selection of authors or topics will be gathered for you. Picture books make great book bundles.
Once you have received an email notice that your hold is ready, proceed to the front of the library. Call 713.662.8160 and let the staff know you are here. We will then pull your holds, check them out to you and place them in a designated bin in front of the library. For security of the items we will not place the books in bins until you are at the library.
The book return by the sidewalk is open 24/7 and the library building remains open for computer use, study, browsing and check out.
