From the City of Bellaire:
In observance of the Independence Day Holiday, all City Offices will be closed and there will be no Solid Waste service or limbs/brush collection on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Please note the following changes to the Solid Waste pickup schedule:
- Sections A, B, and E Garbage: Collection resumes on Thursday, July 8, 2021

From the City of West University Place:
All City offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Monday, July 5. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 6.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling and yard waste collection on Monday, July 5. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Monday will be collected on Wednesday, July 7. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day (Thursday, July 8). Download the West U Collects app for holiday trash schedule reminders.
The West University Place Recreation Center will be closed on Sunday, July 4 but will resume regular operation hours on Monday, July 5.
The City of Houston offices will also be closed July 5 and there will be no trash pickup.
