City of Bellaire
Curbside tree recycling is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, 2019, and Thursday, January 3, 2019.
Trees not placed on the curbside for pick up on January 2 or January 3 may be dropped off at the designated collection area located at the Northeast corner of Baldwin Ave. and Edith St. until Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Place your tree in the parking lot near the tree recycling sign.
Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, tree stands, and lights before you recycle. Flocked trees will not be recycled.
Trees will also be collected for disposal during the normal brush and limb waste collection days.
City of West University
The City of West University Place will begin curbside collection of Christmas trees for recycling between December 26, and January 11. All trees are to be free of foreign materials or objects (bulbs, stands, decorations, etc.) and placed at the curb on normal trash collection day.
Flocked trees are not accepted for recycling and will be disposed of as trash.
