KTRK reports that “Houston police responded to reports of an armed bank robbery at the BBVA Compass on 4004 Richmond Ave. at 9:46 a.m.” Saturday morning. “When officers arrived to the bank, the suspects reportedly fled the scene and led officers on a high-speed chase.”
Three suspects were in the car when it crashed on the 610 West Loop in Bellaire. One suspect was arrested while two other suspects ran. Bellaire police searched in the area near Evergreen between the West Loop and Second St. and advised residents “If you notice unusual activity, such as a person running or hiding in a yard, please call 911.” A second suspect was quickly caught in the nearby neighborhood and police continued to search for the third suspect.
According to Bellaire Police “one suspect was caught immediately and one suspect was caught in the neighborhood after a search. One suspect was not located” in the neighborhood.
