The following is an update on the Bond Project from Principal McDonough:
“The Bond Project will begin starting next week as our construction project begins. The primary goals for this summer are to install the water retention system under the football field and build the new temporary parking lot on the baseball field and senior lot. Thus you will begin to see trucks on and near campus starting Monday, June 4.
Additionally, the original Career & Technology Building on the Northern end of campus will be demolished. Thus the current faculty lot will be inaccessible beginning Monday, June 11. So anyone visiting campus will find our parking challenges a bit enhanced for June and July. Visitor parking can be secured along S. Rice as well as on Maple – though any visitors should be sure to adhere to all posted signage. The City of Bellaire is dedicated to enforcing parking restrictions and we do not have any influence on the manner in which they do this.
We will have our normal summer crew both on campus and a smaller crew at Pin Oak for the summer. Consistent with HISD, our school offices will be open from 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday through Thursday. The website is still the best place to receive information both for current and prospective families.”
