“Let’s Par-Tee For A Great Cause! Alumni and Friends of Bellaire High School To Host A Fundraising Happy Hour at Top Golf Thursday, April 12th“
The Alumni and Friends of Bellaire High School invite you to come out for our Fore Scholarship Social at the ever-popular Top Golf! We’ve changed it up a bit this year so that both golf lovers and non-golfers have a chance to reconnect over cocktails and a buffet for a great cause! The Fore Scholarship Social, organized by volunteers from Former Bellaire High School Alumni and Friends, is our organization’s largest fundraiser. The proceeds from this event are used to supplement the capital and education programs at the school.
AFBHS is supported primarily by raising funds from alumni, friends and community businesses. Our goals are to raise money for student scholarships, teacher grants, and school improvements. We strive to provide four (4) $2,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors each year. Additionally, we award one $500 grant to a faculty member and $350 to a staff member.
Event co-chair Becky Phillips notes, “We ask you to help us spread the word so that Cards from many graduating classes have a chance to mix and mingle. For any non-par golfers, there is always the many cocktail offerings and the chance to relive your best BHS memories!” An array of food, drink, and play options are available to all attendees so don’t forget to secure your tickets early while space is available. Love to shop? We’ve got you covered! An extensive array of auction items will be onsite for your bidding pleasure! Raffle tickets are 5 for $20 and include prizes such as Ride for You Plus 12 friends on the Houston City Bus Tour, Happy Hour For 12 At Hungry’s Upstairs In The Village, and Brunch for 4 with a bottle of champagne at Pico’s.
