The City of Bellaire has received confirmation that a Bellaire police department employee has tested positive for COVID-19. Steps are being taken to ensure the continuity of essential city services. Safety protocols have been implemented that include COVID-19 testing for exposed city employees and isolation as needed. Harris County Public Health has been contacted regarding contact tracing. Due to health privacy laws, no names or additional details will be released.
