Streets are beginning to flood, please stay home and off the roads if possible. If you need to travel, please click here for a list of Streets with HIgh Water in Bellaire. This list is current as of 9:30 am this morning and may not be all inclusive, weather conditions are constantly changing througout the day. If you would like to report high water, please call the non-emergency number at 713-668-0487.
The City of Bellaire has a no-wake ordinance that prohibits cars, boats, or other vehicles from traveling on a flooded street at a speed that creates a wake that is likely to increase flooding that will cause personal injury or damage to property.
We will continue to monitor the development of Tropical Storm Beta and will provide updates on city services pending the changing weather conditions and potential impact on affected services today and tomorrow. All information is current as of Tuesday, September 22, at 9:30 am. Any changes to these services will be promptly relayed.
Updated city services:
There will be no solid waste and recycling pick-up today or Wednesday, September 23 of this week.
City Hall and the Library and pools are closed today.
Municipal Court dockets will be canceled today and court service windows are closed.
Police and Fire personnel remain on duty 24/7 for emergency needs.
